Making others feel good and special

You really should worry about yourself more and what it is you want…

It can be so difficult sometimes when you are living in a world full of people pretending to be something they’re not. You see people struggling, friends upset or family members that need that shoulder.

Since a young age I have always worried about everyone around me much more than myself. It’s like an addiction. Making others happy makes me happy.

When you’re constantly battling with others trying to help them it can mentally drain you. You see fights, arguments, blood, sweat and tears and it rips you apart. Just making someone’s day and putting a smile on their face can be so rewarding.

The simple thing is: manners are free, being nice is free and sitting in the company of someone in need is free, so why don’t we help more often? Wouldn’t we want someone there for us when times are hard? I’ve always been taught to treat people the way I would like to be treated, but it’s not always as easy as that.

One of the biggest problems is being taken advantage of. They get used to that reliability on another person and can result in you getting seriously hurt.

So I’ve decided to do something different and be a little selfish. Soon I will be embarking on a huge adventure trip to help other people in a different country. Meeting strangers for the first time and having a positive impact on their day will be so satisfying. And what makes it more prominent is you will feel just how grateful they are.
